For Sale 16.3 French Boulonnaise Grey Mare (also known as The White Marble Horse). She will be 9 in June 2015. Sophia was bred in France she is fully Passported still holding a French Passport showing her parents and grandparents. I have owned her for three years. All injections up to date (due Jan 2015 which I will have done). I have ridden her purely for hacking out. She will hack out alone or in company. She is a gentle giant although does need a firm hand and is not a novice ride due to her size. She is good to handle in all ways, farrier, clipping and vet never nasty in stable loves to be groomed. She has previously hunted and taken part in fun rides. At 5 she had a coloured foal and was a great mum. She currently lives out in the summer (monitored) and stabled in the winter as no winter turnout which doesn’t seem to bother her. She respects electric fencing. Sophia has feathers but not a lot. She is definitely a weight carrier. I have not done a lot of school work with her although she does go in the school and someone who has the time could bring her up to scratch. Sophia would come with Tack and a wardrobe of rugs for summer and winter. If you would like to know about the French Boulonnaise characteristics there is plenty of information on the internet.
