For a subset of consumers who do not provide complete document numbers needed to verify their immigration status electronically, the upload link only lists citizenship documents in the drop-down. We are working to make sure this list also includes immigration documents. Consumers can either mail in a copy of the requested information or upload any acceptable document under a different category (e.g. “upload a green card while selecting upload a copy of passport”). While consumers are able to upload documents as part of their applications, we are working to make it clear that consumers with any type of immigration issue can upload any form that is requested, including a copy of their green card.
