For about a year now Ive been working a side job with one of my best friends in San Diego, running the door at a local country bar on Fridays and Saturdays. This has been a predominantly positive experience because its a great change of pace to the week, I get to spend a few hours with some people I genuinely care about, and it gets me out of the fitness “bubble” that dominates my life. Every now and then, though, events happen that can test my patience. Thankfully, when a few of those things occurred this past weekend, I was able to react appropriately and turn it into a positive.
