For academic reasons ... Im about to write a conspiracy theory / Clancy plot that obviously was never done. Steal a plane for terrorist purposes. Malaysia to China. Pay off pilots. Insert terrorist in cabin. Steal plane at night, so passengers have no situational/geographical awareness. Turn it around mud air. Malaysia looks a lot like Vietnam at altitude at night. Make a another turn, southwest. Avoid radar of India and the Australian Christmas & coco island area. Refuel, see the mansion you are supposed get on one of the islands, update your sharia law discussion at a local cafe. ( read all the demographics in the link). As this novel continues, the plane takes back off and flies to a Middle East terrorist country of your choosing (Iran, Syria, Pakistan, etc .) the terrorists Strips out all the seats and loads substandard nuclear material inside. Now you have the largest dirty bomb ever conceived. Target Jerusalem. Or maybe Crimea, you dont know, somebody might be owed money. Meanwhile the whole western world rallies to search for the plane, in all the wrong places. A CIA analyst now holds one minute piece of information That will link seemingly unrelated investigations into a much larger picture. Will the link be made in time to save the world? Who knows. Well that was fun... Except for the person at the NSA whos computer blew up from all the key words. Sorry dude/dudette. Really wish I had the skills to write it. Oh well.
