The Chief Ashkenazi Rabbi of Israel, Rav David Lau, said that during Shabbat services in synagogue, that there must be a bomb shelter or safe place to go, and that if a red alert siren starts to blare, to QUICKLY go to the safe-shelter. If someone is older who cannot evacuate the synagogue quickly, they should STAY HOME and pray there, as the saving of a life takes precedence of praying in synagogue. FOR SILENT RADIO over the Sabbath> The Israel Broadcasting Authority will offer four FM frequencies which will only broadcast missile alerts with silence in between: 95.8 - Lehavim, Meitar, Arava and Mitzpeh Ramon 97 - the Beer Sheva area 100 - Central Israel 101.5 - Gaza Envelope/Perimeter, Ashdod and Ashkelon ..and for all the country, Kol Yisrael will provide a silent broadcast on 531 kHz on the AM dial.
