For all my realtor (& non-realtor) friends: I feel compelled share the experience of going to Fall Masterminds for Keller Williams MAPS Coaching in Austin. Your jaw drops & mind is forever changed when you are sitting in a room with the top 1% of the best 1% of business coaches in the world, along with 70-80 realtors running HUGE businesses and providing infinite opportunities for talented people around the country. (Like the line from Top Gun – “you are the top 1 percent of all naval aviators. The elite. The best of the best. We’ll make you better …”) These aren’t “real estate agents” – these are TITANS OF INDUSTRY. If you think we just sell houses, you are missing the big picture of the infinite opportunity around us. (By the way there are no age or years of experience limitations either). Stop thinking like realtors & start thinking like businessmen/business owners. Mega Agents shared what was & wasn’t working in their businesses – how they are continually Failing Forward. The brain power in the room was incredibly inspiring and forced me to shed limiting beliefs of what is truly possible in life. People are selling $50 million to $80 million (3 years in the biz – 80M on 420 units… WOW!!) in real estate every year in their businesses & they have time off – actual work/life balance. Can you imagine the opportunities created along the way? Tony D pushed us to consider the teams that will now reach $400M in the near future….. THE SKY IS THE LIMIT. One of those teams has an inside sales team that sets 100 buyer and seller appointments per month. Each of those inside sales agents makes around $80-90k (it’s all relative to your local market, yet this was definitely beating their options in similar positions in other industries in their market place) annually in income and only work 5 days a week. There are Buyers Agents NETTING $200k per year . This without a doubt is the vision & goal I have for my lead buyer’s agent in 2014 as well (we already had it on our 2014 team biz goals before Masterminds & now I want to see how many opportunities we could potentially present this to talented individuals as our team continues to grow from our past client referrals). There are agents who provide stock options, health insurance, disability insurance for their team members (this was in the minority, yet clearly something we can do to add value & can be included in our team’s vision). So….do you feel like youre reaching your potential? If not, time to do some reflection, set clear goals with benchmarks along the way, open yourself to change/honest feedback, HIRE A COACH, & hang with more high-minded individuals that will elevate your thinking.
