For all of my friends that are not aware, Monday night aug 11 I suffered a stroke to my right side about 7PM. I went to HMH, was taken good care of, Dr Gainey checked me out, took some tests and sent me by helicopter to UK in lexingeon. I had tingling and numbness in right hand and arm, traveled down Right side into leg and foot. When I left home I had trouble standing up and my food would not cooperate, it wanted to drag. Liz and Dicky Wade helped me to the car and Kathy Gilligan and Cassidy took me to the hospital What a nightmare, and such a scary thing to go thru. Ct scan was clear. At UK they took CT scan, MRI< checked out everything. Result was that I had suffered a stroke, probably passed a clot somewhere. I was very lucky, my feelings came back, I have a little weakness in my arm and led but Im doing fine., I will rest and return to work on Monday and hope all will be clear with no problems. Thank God for being there for me and all my family and friends. Isnt life Wonderfull!! And so is GOD!!
