For all of you younger moms on Facebook who are jumping up and down because your sweet children are back in school..... my youngest of five is leaving for college this weekend and my house will be quiet and empty. Cherish the chaos, listen to the conversations while you drive the endless carpools, kiss them often and tell them how much you love them even if they dont pick up after themselves. My 28 years as a mom flew by and I am certain I will be in tears on Monday morning when there arent 17 loads of laundry, volleyball practices and dinner to cook. This empty nest thing is going to be tough.
