For all the creative types out there, this ones for you. Being an author is often a lonely, solitary thing. Of course, I deal with editors, proofreaders, web designers, distributors and many others that play supportive roles in my profession. Yet the real meat of what I do, or what any creator does, is extremely private, at least while in the creative stages. I’ve never enjoyed writing at coffee shops, writer’s group meet-ups or anywhere one will find a lot of different energies swirling about. I prefer to be alone.
