(For all the fathers out there putting in work. This is for you!) Dad You have given me everything I ever need, to be successful. From how to speak, To how to breath. You have laid the foundation for me. Now father I know we are both, One of the same. Because when I look in the mirror all I can see is, The similarities of our face. I remember days we would go outside and glaze upon the stars. Then at night, I would go to sleep and dream of dreams, Of us floating among the stars. Father. You do everything. You correct me. You protect me. You give love that encircles me. You rescue me, In what ever way it takes because, You care for me. I admire you. You have made mistakes, But you use yourself to make me better. You deem, to be greater. Than you. & I feel as though this is an incredible feat, Because I see you as the greatest human being I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Its like every time you went to sleep, all you did was mediate of how proud you were of me. Even the simply things. When I was in third grade and I got my first. B , minus. For me it was the most devastating thing, But you held it with high esteem. Quoting, B, is above average. Meaning that I was above average! Daddy. You have been with me before birth. I have been watching you, Ever since I could remember. How you steadily relied on God. You held down the house, Because you valued every treasure inside. I love you! I thank you for all the support you have given. Because without you, I simply wouldnt be living.
