For all those living & studying in Georgia and interested in international relations and business, as of 2014, the Republic of Korea became the second largest trading partner with the Port of Savannah, Georgia with trade increasing by over 30 percent. The Port of Savannah is currently the fourth largest and fastest growing international container port in the United States, handling over 10% percent of containerized exports. The port continues to grow with the city of Atlanta, which is the twelfth fastest growing major city in the United States and has among the highest projected economic growth rates for major cities in the country within the next decade.
