For all who have been following Rhondas progress, weve got NEW - TopicsExpress

For all who have been following Rhondas progress, weve got NEW News. She spent last week at CarrickBrainCenters in Irving doing testing and treatment. She had testing done way beyond what was done at Mayo and UTSW (even though UTSW did some of the tests, they didnt know how to interpret them). Testing revealed a left cerebellar functional lesion (effects brain function but cant be seen on MRI or x-ray). The doctor explained everything on a white board and outlined the findings of the tests, the results, and why shes having dysautonomia (autonomic nervous system is messed up). Then 3 days of treatment to reboot her brain to work more normal and retesting showed significant improvement. We are just waiting on blood work to get back in order to find out what the metabolic phase will be. He indicated she should be feeling significantly better in 3 months and to expect 6-12 months for her body to really improve. We hope to have a treatment plan in a few weeks. Thank all of you for your prayers.
