For all you APD Retirees out there who are having insurance issues with Aetna: Did you know a medical committee has been formed through the Retired Public Employees Association who might just be able to help you resolve your issues with Aetna?! Instead of just whining about it, get actively involved in finding a solution. You never know if your claim denial can be appealed if you dont talk to someone about it. PLUS, the committee doesnt know these problems exist unless you bring it to their attention. I had a nice long phone conversation today with someone who was able to point out options for my recently denied health insurance claims. Thank you so much Sharon H. You are tops in my book!
