For any members who dont yet have one, here are the fifteen buttons from which you can choose one of to proudly wear and show your group support. If you happen to see either Deric or me, just ask for one! I want to again remind everyone that our posts and comments are viewable by the general public and as a matter of ongoing policy it is not our place or responsibility to post about any sensitive issue until it is officially confirmed and/or announced by the Zoo. Good examples are births, deaths, naming or the relocating of any high-profile animals. This is out of respect for the Zoo and its established procedures and protocols. If there is ever a question about whether something is appropriate to post its best to hold off and ask privately first. If something of a sensitive or confidential nature gets posted on the group page before the Zoo makes an official announcement, before we get the go ahead to post about it, or that goes against Zoo policy, the poster will be contacted and asked to remove his/her post. This groups focus, like our title and posts continually show, will always be about photographing the SDZoo Global animals and plants that we care so much about. And just in case any member is not familiar with the Zoos policy regarding photos taken on property, those photos are not allowed to be used commercially in any form. They are for private use only.
