For anyone dealing with memory loss in a loved one, this is for you. It was printed in an Alzheimers newsletter Do Not Ask Me to Remember Do not ask me to remember. Dont try to make me understand. Let me rest and know youre with me. Kiss my cheek and hold my hand. Im confused beyond your concept. I am sad and sick and lost. All I know is that I need you To be with me at all cost. Do not lose your patience with me. Do not scold or curse or cry. I cant help the way Im acting, Cant be different, though I try. If you make mistakes dont worry. Guilt is a waste of time. I wont remember anyway, Just smile and be mine. No matter what know that I love you. Take care and be stress free. Life is short as we are learning. Today is a blessing, cant you see.
