For anyone looking to use public transit the weekend of ACen, take note of some changes. From May 16-18, the orange line (Midway to the Loop) wont be running between Halsted and Roosevelt. Therell be shuttle buses between these stops. As of May 1st, Chicago Card and magnetic strip transit cards (not 1, 3, 7, 30 day passes at the moment) will no longer be loadable. Outside of cash ($2.25 bus, $2.50 train, premium fare at Ohare airport), Ventra will be the only acceptable fare card used.
