For anyone who interested in a bay report. We fished Altona twice recently for one donut and a single. Yesterday we fished Chelsea launching from Altona and its about a 30 min run on a flat deck. The bay has been a bit hit and miss this year. They dont seem to have fired as hard as other years yet. Yesterday we managed 3 good fish in 18m. This year we have had heaps of good hits and runs and then nothing. Never seen them dropping the bait as much as this year. Other we spoke to are saying exactly the same thing. They are not hard to find on the sounder and the bay seems to be full of school fish so maybe their just full!
