For anyone who may be interested - Brad Rivers is going to be on the Island Sept 3rd - 7th and is looking to meet with any Fishermen who may be interested in this project. He wanted me to post this for him: Lobsterland: a documentary about the Canadian Lobster Fishing industry is coming to Grand Manan looking for Executive Producers. This documentary has been in the research and development phase for two years and is now ready to move into production. The only thing holding it back is investment. The film will be toured in the maritimes as well as in Universities and Film Festivals across Canada. This film will teach people about the lobster fishery as well as clear up some of the mysteries around lobster pricing for fishermen. From Sept 3rd to Sept 7th, Brad Rivers (the director of the film) and his team will be coming to Grand Manan, courtesy of Steven Robinson to talk to anyone interested in investing in this film and showing Canadian Lobster Fishing to the world.
