For anyone who might be interested in learning more about the story heres The Silver Cauldron synopsis Ive been sending to agents: Achan, a Kingdom once built upon prosperity, now stands upon the broken backs of the poor and the persecuted, those who hide in fear simply because who they are could lead to their death. A feeble King sits on the throne with his sly advisors, doing nothing to prevent his Kingdom from crumbling. But things are beginning to change, some are starting to fight back against their King and their persecutors. Achan is being haunted by a Shadow Walker, a creature that carries out karma on the cruel, travelling through fearful whispers and blood-soaked rumours. A group of rebels live in the streets of the capital, Alana, stealing from the rich to feed the poor, believing that one day they will be able to overthrow the King they despise. And in the castle of Alana, not far away from where the Shadow Walker and these rebels hide, is a girl who doesnt even know she is important yet. The girls name is Ajali, she is the bored and lonely Kings ward. She has been told since she can remember about how ungrateful she is for the King taking her into his care and how pointless she is to this Kingdom. She is considered an outsider by servants and nobles alike, not only for the unladylike way she acts but also because of her mysterious purple eyes. Everything changes however when Ajali has her Silver Cauldron Ceremony, an event everyone must take part in when they reach the age of sixteen to discover their true purpose in life. When Ajali puts her hand inside the strange Silver Cauldron she fears she will pull out nothing, or something that would symbolise how useless she really is, that there is nothing in her future but marriage. Everyone is in for a shock therefore when she pulls out her hand and finds herself clutching a jewelled sword. The symbol of a mighty warrior. At the sight of the sword suddenly those Ajali has lived with all her life turn against her, the King and his advisors now view her as an enemy and want her captured. She is forced to flee into the streets of Alana and sees for the first time the misery the Kings people are living in. Not long after entering the streets Ajali is found by the group of rebels who tell her that she is more important that she could have imagined. That there is a powerful prophecy about a girl with purple eyes who can overthrow the King. Ajali isnt sure if she should trust these strangers and doesnt believe in the mysterious prophecy that talks of powerful magic and even a twin sister she doesnt have, but she realises she might be the only one who can change this Kingdom for good. However she is surrounded by danger, not only from the King, but from powerful hidden enemies who will do anything to stop the prophecy from being fulfilled.
