For distribution Black Canadian Studies - Website blackcanadianstudies/ Call for Submissions - Book Reviews Black Canadian Studies Website is looking for talented scholars to submit book reviews of publications within the field of Black Canadian Studies. Submissions from junior academics and graduate students are welcome. Reviews of books from any discipline or a combination of disciplines will be considered including edited volumes, single-authored books, and exhibition catalogues. Reviews within the fields of Black Diaspora Studies, Slavery Studies, Race and Representation, the Visual Culture of Slavery and other related fields will also be considered. The reviews will be published online in the new “Book Review” section of the Black Canadian Studies Website. Reviews should be between 2000 and 3000 words and rigorously analyze and contextualize the publication in question.
