Light grey markings far back treeline Thats armisteads men lining up.line at far left is the spot where Jordan did is for Virginia speech. Black dots in front of the line are the fourty cannon for the cannonade. Further up is the copse of tree..lol one fell some years back,the blue dots represent the union cannon..pointed at pumping station rd. Further up in dark grey,is the stone wall set.....now behind the union cannon. Is another stone wall..i assume after filming was done, they relocated the rocks there..because in a arial view of that location before filming. Those rocks were not present.. u can still see that wall.at the annual gac reenactment. The two white squares. In the middle left of the grey angle wall.is a rough estimate to where meades headquarters. And barn set were located..the brown line in the road.is the dirt the production team poured on pumping station rd. To give it that civil war look..lol...this is a #1 in group i am uploading. .next will be. Spanglers woods.. I will.add, that yes, armistead was marching to the rear of the union lines in this photo. .its funny but true..lol..they had everything compacted on this farm property. It was so bad.. when you see garnett and kemper on horse riding up the hill, u can see the roof of meades headquarters, and the barn roof set...as i said this is a rough estimate of were the crew and equipment was located.. but a close one at that.
