For most Americans this is the way you spread Christianity with bombs and gifts. Historically that has been the way for the Europeans for years. The pope and his followers have forced their traditions and days of week on all the people that they encountered under the threat of death to those who did not go along.. The protestant revolt initially reject the introduction of these pagan traditions from European communities that was based on the worship of stones and statues, not the spirit of the man from Nazerene who lived in the desert. Few protestants have followed that tradition but have turned their churches into dens of thieves where the debate is on how much you give in order to get to the promise land
