For my New Years Day meal, I have tried pork ribs and sauerkraut, Pork roast and sauerkraut, Black-eyed peas and ham and corn bread, black eyed peas and hog jowls and corn bread. All of which are supposed to bring luck in the coming year. None of them worked. I have also had BBQ ribs, T-Bone Steaks, and filet mignon. Also no luck. This year I have a hankering for a good old chuck pot roast and I dont care if its lucky or not. Happy New Year to all my friends and family.
