For my friends in Hamilton. A boil water advisory has been issued for HAMILTON on 11/10/2013. Update - The Drinking Water Advisory issued on November 8, 2013 to the residents of East 23rd Street between Queensdale and Concession Street remains in effect. However, initial lab test results indicate increased uses of the municipal water within the affected area are not a risk. The uses of the municipal water that are not a risk are; - Bathing (provided water is not swallowed);washing hands; laundry; flushing toilets. The municipal water should not be used for drinking; brushing teeth; making meals, ice, juice, baby food or formula; washing fruits and vegetables; washing dishes. The conditions that caused the Advisory have been resolved. Further sampling and testing of the water supply is ongoing.
