For our KALFI Year 3 Project, Klang & I organized a series of get-togethers for us and other fellow ladies... We present to you the first of 3 chapters of our project, LADYLIKE SERIES, which will discuss the portrayal of women or ladies in various media. For our first chapter entitled Lady within the Page, the topic will brush through different female personas/protagonists and how we can relate to them. This may also serve as our time to see titles of books worth reading during the summer break! Bongga di ba!? :) One of our speakers will be Mimille Guzman, one of KALFIs very own LEAD mentees. She is currently taking up Marketing at UA&P. She is both a wide reader and a consistent blogger. The other speaker is none other than Ms. Jenny Bermudez of Tanglaw University Center. She graduated magna cum laude at the University of Sto. Tomas and got her MA in Literary and Cultural Studies at the Ateneo Graduate School of Humanities.
