Technical support engineer at Pellucid Healthcare Networks Pvt Ltd Posted on November 21, 2013 by Admin Company: Pellucid Healthcare Networks Pvt Ltd Job description: Technical Support Engineer General Description: Candidate should possess a broad technical knowledge in IP networking and software installation fields. Candidate should be highly experienced in providing excellent customer service and problem escalation/resolution. Primary Job Functions: • Provide Tier 1 support to end users, dealers and distributors. • Complete the implementation within the time schedule and budget • Train and Hand Hold the customer on working procedures • Create and distribute Reports based about the day to day activities • Resolve support issues as per agreed support levels by interfacing with customer and product teams. • Ensure Product Performance and make it live with the customer • Travelling to customer site with if necessary for installation. • Provide troubleshooting and technical support via phone, web based tools and email. • Advise customers regarding the product’s proper use and address specific user issues. • During problem escalations, act as a liaison between customers and Tier 2 supports. Candidate will assist the customer base during installations. Required Skills: • Strong understanding of computer hardware, OS trouble shooting and Network configuration. • Strong technical and analytical skills. • Solid experience in problem analysis and resolution of software problems. Proven ability to function in a self-directed environment. • Ability to handle clients professionally during all interfaces. • Sales support to help resellers and end users select, optimal installation configurations in a complex network environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Languages:English and Hindi Experience: 1-2+ years of Software and Networking experience in a technical support/help desk environment. Education:Network+ and/or CCNA certification Work Status: Full time Travel:Position requires 50% travel once experienced.
