For seven years I prayed for God to let us have another child. We went through all the procedures, the tears, etc. Finally, after our last miscarriage in April of 2013, I began to pray instead that God would give us a child. In August of that same year, I returned to work at James Bowie High School, despondent, unable to move past the sorrow. In the beginning of September Brandi Wiswall Harrison asked me what was wrong. I told her I had to have a baby. She laughed and said Okay, Ill get you one. We met Dana Denise Cearley at Pizza Hut to discuss adoption, only then realizing that Barry Bobbitt already knew her. She chose us to be the parents of her unborn child. Ethan Kaid Bobbitt was born November 18, 2013. He is my HEART baby. Happy Birthday Darling Boy. This morning he told me the best gift a kid could ever have was a Mother who would love him forever, and he already had that. Of course, he might have been kissing up a little since he also got a phone this year :)
