For six long years I never had an occasion to defend Obama. So here goes that record...Obama is a civilian and is not required to salute any military personnel, officer or enlisted or non-com. I think the social media have gone too far with the unsolicited opions and the endless nit-picking. Obamas salute meant nothing to me, nothing. That being said, a President who wont place his right hand over his heart when colors are mustered or when the National Anthem is played is not a patriot. But I already knew that...I didnt need the social media to tell me. People are so polarized now they are out looking high and low to be offended. To anyone offended by Obamas latte salute, I can only say: get a life. That being said, dont tell anyone I defended Obama. Goodnight and God bless, all you real patriots.
