For some reason our screech owl pair, Allie & Dakota, and using natural cavities to roost in this year. These owls have been using our boxes fairly consistently for the past three years. Yesterday morning Dakota made a brief appearance in box #7 and Dakota cached a mouse in box #2 this morning. It does look like we have some flying squirrels that have moved into box #6. They are very active in/out of that box at night since they are nocturnal.
