For the afternoon we had a lovely meeting with a relative Mary, who is 87yrs old. She was just delightful, we met several relatives, Ella, Edwina, Michael and Trevor. Her son in law Michael took us to the old Sloan residence in Ballyrush, where it is derelict. We could make out a two storied building with a pitched roof which was the oldest bit where my g g grandfather James Kennedy Sloane would have lived. Then a new bit was added to the left. Very poignant moment just being there. There is a picture of Mary and I. Tired now and early night.
