For the first time in 8 years the children, grand children and great grand children of Richard C. Maynard and Patsy J. McCoy Maynard are coming together for a reunion and I cant wait. As I am preparing some food to take I got to thinking about our mother when she cooked, (and if she was alive she would kill me for this) either her hair was wrapped in toilet paper or so tightly put up that it would dare fall (thanks Tim and I have pictures to prove it) and she would have on her night gowns, and daddy sitting in the living room peeling potatoes trying to help feed the army. Rick the chicken is frying, Tim macaroni salad is coming together and Tammy your green beans and potatoes are on the stove, the rest of the eight were just glad to get some food, and sorry Patty always got stuck with the dishes I truly love and miss them.
