For the first time in my history of being on Facebook, I requested to be booted or removed from a group. Thankfully it is a closed group so not many other than the moderator and two or three friends actually see it. In stead of the stated purpose to support the Republican Party, it is nothing more than a vindictive attack group. Full of gossip, personal attacks on a Candidate not for his actions other than consider Col. Rob Maness a Carpetbagger for his father and his honorable service to our country. I challenged them to tell me just one good reason I should vote for their Candidate Bill Cassidy if Rob Maness doesnt make the runoff. My concerns are Cassidys voting record against Veterans and for Funding Obama. Plus his very public attacks on Ted Cruz and Mike Lee. Instead of even trying to justify the votes because of other items in the bill they immediately went on the defense. The two best answers were because of the Split the Vote which I provided proof it not only is a lie, but beneficial to have more candidates to bring out more voters. The other was a promise that Cassidy would be a BETTER CONSERVATIVE when he becomes a Senator. What they dont like about Col. Rob Maness is the Carpetbagger from his service. Even though Cassidy is not native to Louisiana. And Rob hasnt been a politician. When I try to talk substance one or more will post vile comments about people who they wont allow in their closed group to defend themselves. Well Republicans of Greater Baton Rouge not only is your group closed, so are your minds. I did have one good exchange about Article IV of the Constitution. Not sure I agree yet, but he made some valid points for me to investigate. Louie White
