For the last several months, I, along with a group of high-minded, open-hearted people in both the U.S and Jamaica, have been working on manifesting a Global Call To Love on Bob Marleys 70th Earthday this coming February 6. It is now planned for the San Francisco Bay Area. More than a celebration of Bob Marley’s 70th, this is a global call to us all to make the same commitment as Bob did – to devote our lives to healing this planet through love, forgiveness and justice. We envision this as much more than Bob’s and other conscious music performed by well-known artists but also there will be video messages from internationally-known humanitarians inviting the audience to join them in teaching love in our lives. Among others, we plan to invite the Dalai Lama, Archbishop Tutu, Malala, Jane Goodall, Harry Belafonte, Chief Arvol Looking Horse, Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers, Dr. Benjamin Chavis, Jr., and Rigaberta Menchu to give us video messages of love. Also, we are inviting people everywhere to share this call to love – which will be streamed free on the internet – with their family, friends and community by hosting free One Love Showings in their homes, churches, temples, synagogues, and clubs everywhere. Join us! Host an event! Spread the word! Assist us in other ways that you feel guided!
