For the last year I have been on a quest to learn to play guitar. Kind of a love quest. Wanted to just cherish my husband Mark Levesque. Asked Gary Young if he would be willing to teach me to play our wedding song. The Beatles I Will. He graciously agreed... God love him ~ I am not a natural! Anyway, I have been hiding my guitar at my friends grooming shop and multiple customers thru out the year...sometimes using Marks guitars when he wasnt home (hehehehe)... Having the time of my life honestly! Last night I decided to come out of the closet with it at our family Christmas party. Blew Marks mind!!! Played 2 songs If I needed you by Townes Van Zandt & I Will by the Beatles. I will never forget the look on Marks face as long as I live. One of the best nights of my life. I made mistakes but it was still perfect! I love you Mark Levesque you are my everything. I am living my very own love story!!! Thank you Gary Young I love you dearly for making this possible. ****This is what Mark had to say about it on a picture that Gary posted: I will tell you. I was not surprised to see my wife come into the room carrying a guitar case. She often will carry my guitar for me. However I was surprised when she laid the guitar down on the floor in front of me open the case took the instrument out then proceeded to tell everyone in the room that she had been learning to play the guitar. For 10 months. and she was learning from someone I would like to take lessons from. She asked if I would come and sit next to her and I did. She put the guitar in her lap and and started to play. Absolutely unbelievable. And whats more unbelievable she also started singing in perfect tune and tempo with what she was playing on the guitar. She was nervous I could see that. And when I saw that I motioned for someone 2 hand me a guitar. I started to play quietly along with her just trying dg to comfort her. She sang just as beautiful as she is. Its the best way I can describe it. For almost a year she has practiced and I knew nothing about it at all. I was absolutely dumbfounded when she opened the case. And I cant really remember what she said only I AM learning to play. I was and still am shocked. And as happy as can be. We have the rest of our lifes to learn new songs together. What a cool early christmas present. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas . mine is starting off amazing.**** Sorry this was so long... But not as long as keeping this a secret all year!!!
