For the past couple of days, I have one particular memory of Monty. It is of when I would take him for a walk to the park. The par was located a block away. The name of the park is called: Meadowpark....just small...tennis courts, some swings, a slide and some grass and sand. Monty loved a routine and had to follow it on every walk. However, when we went to the park together, he would watch for the kids, or any little animals he could get excited about. And when we got to the park, I would take him to where the sand was by the swings. The second his toes touched the sand he went CRAZY! He got sand everywhere! In his eyes, in his nose, in his mouth, and all through his fur. He did not care and always started snorting and sneezing and shaking it out of his fur. But it was always too late. Monty never thought about the consequences of those particular actions when he got to the park. He would start ripping around that sand pit like there was no tomorrow. Monty didnt care. He was free! There was nothing stopping him. I always hated to make him leave. If I had known then what I do today, I would have stayed at the park for hours on end, just me and Monty. I cant get him back and I cant rewind time. All I have now are a few precious photos and memories which mean the world to me.
