For the past several months – definitely since May – the Chamber has been working closely with Kraig Anderson, Corporate Retail Sales Manager for West Central Wireless, in an effort to locate the problem with our cell phone service and fix it. Last month, Kraig and I rode the roads of Kimble County testing cell phone service one day, so that he can accurately relate to his contacts at AT&T where the problems are occurring. I can only give my highest praise to Kraig for his attention, dedication, and diligence in trying to help our community. I contact him throughout the day, when my cell service at our home is disrupted or mia entirely! I have also expressed to him the liability exposure this prolonged, continuous, unaddressed problem creates for AT&T and their associate companies. So, finally yesterday afternoon, I was contacted by a representative from AT&T – a Stacy Porter. She is trying to pinpoint the locations of customers experiencing frequent cell service outages – at the repeated requests of Kraig Anderson. In an effort to help provide them with as much specific information as possible, we are asking our community to respond to the Chamber and give us information to pass along to the phone companies. IF YOU HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING FREQUENT DISRUPTIONS IN YOUR AT&T CELL SERVICE, PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR NAME, PHONE NUMBER, AND PHYSICAL ADDRESS. I will compile that information and get it to the proper individuals so that we hopefully can get this matter taken care of once and for all! Please pass this message on to friends and family in this area. We appreciate your response and assistance in getting to the bottom of this issue. Again, many many thanks to Kraig Anderson, West Central Wireless, for his hard work and attention to his customers and Junction Texas!! Please feel free to call me if you have questions, Connie 325.446.3190
