For this weeks #TechTipsTuesday, we are discussing 3 main signs of FICM logic side failure, and 3 main signs of FICM power supply failure. FICM logic side failure presents itself in these 3 symptoms: *Injector circuit high OR low readings, in conjunction with engine misfire ALL the time. *A no-start condition, hot OR cold. *NO buzzing injectors, before cranking. FICM power supply side failure presents itself in these 3 symptoms: *Truck will be running rough, or misfiring when cold. *Hard starts when cold. *A no-start condition, hot OR cold. If you suspect your FICM is failing, you should do a manual voltage test to rule out logic versus power supply failures. Of course, our staff is here to answer any questions you may have; including choosing the FICM power supply that is right for you! youtu.be/gwmJcJa9lds - BPD vs. OEM youtu.be/jnlv45dVK-A 4-phase vs. 6-phase Have a suggestion for our Tuesday installments?
