For those of my military friends who have sat in on my basic electrical classes, you know that I like to wrap things up with a practical demo. Frying pickles with 120 volts only goes so far to excite curious minds though... As I have been invited back to my old stomping ground to deliver (likely) my last lesson to apprentice army signallers, I thought something more appropriate was in order to close off at the end of the day! (Disclaimer: I am a trained professional. Do not try this at home unless you are willing to educate yourself in the potential risk involved (up to and including death) and the proper technique for building and running a Jacobs ladder.)
