For those of us who are serious about good food, this is terrific news. Since 1986 Ed Behr has produced one of Americas best food periodicals, and certainly the best for people concerned with issues of taste. I have no doubt he and the great list of judges will bring the same level of discriminating attention to this new prize, The Art of Eating Best Food Book of the Year. And were pleased to play a small role, along with our cookbook colleagues around the country.
