For those of you that don’t know we have a local (HAHAHA LOCAL) - TopicsExpress

For those of you that don’t know we have a local (HAHAHA LOCAL) tournament here in Washington. Gameclucks in Lynnwood. If it’s far carpool or something. Bike. Run. Jog. Moonwalk. Some of you told me you would have gone if you had known. Now you have…known…? It’s the first Saturday of every month. The fee for going is 5$ and each game is it’s own individual price. I’m gonna assume you guys are gonna enter Project M if you go so that would be 15$ (Oh my god that’s like 13 things from the dollar menu) So a few people from Interlake Smash club went last Saturday. Me, Markus, Justin, Shaun. (Guests stars: Mike Lau, Patrick (who’s Patrick), Micheal, and Elliot, and senpai) We got destroyed. Good news. Not everyone went 0-2. We are still a potential sort of threat to the northwest. (Oh god the EGP/Nationally ranked people. And oh yeah ehhhh the uw people.) The point is I highly recommend you guys go to a tournament. You don’t have to go regularly but there are some really awesome people there and you actually do get better. The first time you go you will get destroyed. You will cry. You will go through a small depression. You might even quit the game for a little bit. But you know what? Ok. You do get like 8 hours of casuals with some of the top players in Washington like Silent wolf and um…Dante. It’s well worth the 15$ if you get all that playtime in . I did at least you just have to make eye contact with people playing and firmly say “Can I get in on this rotation”. If they don’t hear you can either A: Touch their thighs. (this always works) B: Repeat it louder. (You look weird though if they keep ignoring you) C: Watch them play and awkwardly pretend you didn’t say anything. I talked to Brandon and the others about this way early on we were thinking about a official but off the record (unofficial) club field trip to a tournament. We would all go in. Get defeated but have a huge team dinner at the Korean place near by. What do you guys think? Oh by the way. Remember story time with Albert last week? For those of you that that asked this is what Senpai looks like. No he doesn’t look like his sister. EDIT: Facebook post formatting is trash Moar edits: Using my psychic powers of Editing I predict the comments will have a flame war about coming to just play casuals. While that is an option I highly suggest you guys try out the thrill at least once. Why pay 5$ and drive all the way to lynnwood to play friendlies If thats your thing then yeah go for it. But I think its an amazing experience to meet people and see how people and even how you as an individual react to high level play. I used to be a station 4 like you guys but after my first experience It opened my eyes. Friendlies dont have the same intensity as a tournament match. You dont have a huge group of people standing behind you as youre playing. You dont feel the room get silent until you get that up throw that wins you the game while you yell SHAZAAMMMMM
