For those of you who couldnt make it to this past Fridays meeting, heres a quick recap. The anime pitch of the day (as presented by yours truly) was Le Chevalier Deon. (2006-2007, 24 episodes). Its a historical fiction mixed with horror and fantasy elements. You can watch it here: hulu/le-chevalier-deon Afterwards, we talked about AWA plans since its next weekend. Hope you guys have a lot of fun at the con! In addition, theres two new conventions for the spring that could be worth checking out. After all, after AWA, theres really nothing but small one day events for the rest of the semester. Taiga Con: taigacon/ Takes place April 3-5 at the Hilton Atlanta, same hotel as DragonCon and MomoCon (for the past two years). Check the site for more details! Sukoshi Con: sukoshicon/atlanta_index.html This convention travels throughout the southeast and now theyre bringing it to Atlanta! Takes place March 20-22nd. Check the site for more details! For our next meeting (tentatively scheduled for October 3rd from 5-7PM, room 127), bring anything you want to work on (sewing stuff, painting small props, anything that can be cleaned up easily), or if youre not working on anything at the time, bring in any questions on anything cosplay related!
