For those of you who dont know. I used to sing and play the guitar. I loved it as much as i love doing hair now. A lot of things happened that made me forget it and put it behind me and no matter how much people try to get me to pursue it again , it will never be the same. But one of my most Favorite memory, is When i was 14 years old. My papa sat on my bed with me and i showed him my beaten up guitar that i had gotten & it was a hammy down, strings poppin off, untuned. In horriable shape. But i thought it was the coolest thing. Ill never forget showing big papa and he picked it up and starting pickin Johny Cash ring of fire. And it wa sis funny and cute because he could quit hear (you family members know how his hearing was) but in his mind and in his fingers he knew the sound and he knew the strings. He played and played and laughed and told me to keep practicing. I rememeber how he told me the more i played , my fingers would get hard as stone.. And they did. Haha. I never thought Id love doing something so much until i inherited his guitar after he passed away. Its the most beautiful thing over ever laid my eyes on. And i miss it more than anything. But the memory of my papa lives in every note. Every string and ever strum of that guitar. And i havent picked it up in 2 years. :( maybe , just maybe Ill pick it up today.
