For those of you who know Mom, shes just been admitted to hospital. Yesterday Dad and I took her to the ER about 7:00 am. She had trouble breathing and the diagnosis was atrial fibrillation. She got all kinds of pills and IV meds and her heart rate finally came down. I think she basically talked the doctor into releasing her because my older sister was flying in yesterday. She and my younger sister are flying to Paris today and we had some things that we all planned to do yesterday. (Still with me?) Anyway, the doctor told her to go see her regular doctor this morning and I knew that Dr Nacos was going to admit her lickety-split. (Lickety-split was one of Grandma Lorraines favorite sayings. Grandma Lorraine was Moms Mom.) So Mom is in hospital here because her heart is still not pumping right and shell be there for several days. With Carrie out of the country, its going to fall on me to be the go-to good daughter, which we all know Im not. Guess Id better step up. Carries the favorite one but now its my turn to show Mom that maybe Im not so bad after all. :)
