For those of you who love me... This will probably come as no SUrPRISE. I can get a little distracted.. A little forgetful....and a bit crazy. This you all know. What you may not know is that despite all of these factors, I bought a back to school outfit. I have been tempted all summer long to wear it, but I wanted to save this outfit for the first day of school(who says I cant plan ahead?). So, on Monday morning I put on my kelly green shell and Emma asked if I was going to wear my new jacket to school and I said yes. She wanted to help me put it on. She was so sweet and helpful. Made my morning. I was off to the first day of school. Feeling pretty good...new outfit...sweet baby girl. I met a friend in the parking lot and we walked in together. I was early(shocked?) so I got to visit with a few people. I took my seat. Dottie Taylor looked at me with this look on her face and said hold your arm up...I thought I better not have a hole in this jacket I have saved for two months!!!! She said no....its your tags. Two tags dangling there. Really?!?! how did i miss that? She quickly removed them and shoved them in my bag....now thats a friend!!!! This morning I decided to wear the other new top I purchased. I pulled up at sonic to order my morning dose of caffeine. The carhop brought it out. I paid and then gave her a tip. When i raised my arm to give her the tip, the carhop told me she liked my new top. To which I replied thanks( cause my momma said when someone pays you a compliment, that is what you should say). And then I said...I did it again, didnt I ??? She asked if she could get the tags for me (how sweet was that?). To which I said ...Ive got this. I Quickly removed the tags and shoved them in my bag with the ones from yesterday. I am grateful for sonic Carhops!!! I will not repeat this tomorrow...I am out of new clothes. You can just call me Minnie....Minnie Pearl. Have a good night. Hope you are smiling:)
