Meeting carried out by: International expert and consultant: Mr. Steve Farber In light of the continuous quest for organizations to reach a distinct level of performance, a roundtable meeting was held in Al-Khobar under the theme of “Leadership without Borders”. It was organized by the Institute of Public Administration in the Eastern Province. “This workshop is a tradition of the Institute of Public Administration that has been organized for years. It is a round table where a group of deputy ministers and various government agency deputies meet for an entire day, during which we host an international expert to present one of the themes of management and discuss a particularly important topic for government agencies and issues affecting our administrative development in the Kingdom”. Eighty officials from various government agencies as well as CEOs of companies in Saudi Arabia participate in this meeting, which seeks to shed a light on the concept of “Leadership without borders”. “This workshop is held thanks to the keenness and guidance of His Highness the Minister of Interior, who is always eager for officials of the ministry of interior - civilians and military – to participate. We appreciate and are aware of the positive outcome of such meetings involving leading figures of both the civil and military corps. There is no doubt that these meetings represent an opportunity to meet with officials, hold dialogues and be informed on what is new in the administration field. Identifying the key elements of the concept of “The Radical Leap” and knowing how to create a plan of action to start the application of the concept of “leadership Without Borders” were the most prominent themes discussed in this meeting.
