For those of you who think it is ok to not tip your waiter or to treat them like a servant instead of a server . . . please take note of this and other similar stories online. They are NOT Urban Myths. Common sense folks - your food is being prepared out of your sight and you are gonna be an asshole for the sport of it ? Really ? I personally have not done any of this, but having worked in enough restaurants I know it is VERY easy to get away with. I dont do it because I know what goes around comes around and enough servers are getting tired of your crap. Also, dont think that you can just go to another restaurant. This is the Internet Age. You act like a prick enough times and you can be black listed across an entire city in less than a week. You gave them your credit card, remember ? Pay with cash ? All kinds of ways to get your picture taken, buddy. Be smart, dont underestimate these people. We unfortunately live in a country where various shootings have become common to the point they are forgotten rather quickly. With that being, said know that employee who you are treating badly probably has no problem putting your steak down their pants. And that is probably on the better side of the spectrum.
