For those of you whom I have never been able to adequately explain what I do at the railroad, here are two very well-made films on the subject. They may be half a century old, but they do a better job than pretty much any of the more modern films I could find at explaining railroading. The only difference between what you see in these films and what I actually do is that the railroad has become a lot LESS sophisticated over the years and we do a lot more with a whole lot less people...Not that we wouldnt all like to return to THESE glory days!
