For those of you with interests in the eastern mainland of NC, the National Weather Service will conduct a damage survey of the long-track tornado that struck Beaufort, Terrell and mainland Hyde Counties Monday afternoon around 4 PM. Well provide the results later today after the survey is completed. Judging from the damage pictures I saw last evening, this is likely to be a significant (EF-2+) tornado.--Steve.
