Tropical Storm Norbert in the eastern portion of the Pacific just west of Mexico with cells around 50,000 (coded 500) feet. National Radar Summary as of 0700 / 700AM EDT, National Radar Summary and Cadillac MI Radar Sector. Possible waterspouts can be expected along the Atlantic Coast Line from the Carolinas south into Florida and a good chance along the Gulf Coast westward into Louisiana into eastern Texas as well as in extreme southern Txas with the effects of Tropical Storm Dolly. Extreme New England, Maritimes and the Saint Lawrence Valley has some showers, thunderstorms, and a possible severe weather cell/s around 35,000 to 40,000 (coded 350 to 400) feet.. Have a developing line of showers, thunderstorms and severe weather from West Virginia and Virginia southwest into Louisiana with cells 30,000 to 45,000 (coded 300 to 450) feet. Expecting some thunderstorm watch/warning boxes marked in blue and or, tornado watch/warning boxes marked in red as the day progresses and the maps will be updated as the weather moves eastward. Eastern Lake Superior has showers with no radar returns on the cell heights. Have a developed area of thunderstorms and severe weather from the Dakotas and Minnesota south into Kansas and Missouri with cells 40,000 to 55,000 (coded 450 to 550) feet. Expecting some thunderstorm watch/warning boxes marked in blue and or, tornado watch/warning boxes marked in red as the day progresses and the maps will be updated. Pacific Northwest eastward into Montana and north from British Columbia eastward into the Prairies has showers and thunderstorms with cells 20,000 to 30,000 (coded 200 to 300) feet. Cadillac MI Radar Sector has showers in the eastern Lake Superior area with no returns on the cell heights. Have a safe day!
