For those people questioning how WANDs management could let people go, or wondering what theyre thinking...push the pause button. Ive never had a better staff if supervisors to work with. Actually, my job doesnt even seem like a job. Thats how good it is. I eat dinner with my bosses. I socialize outside of the office with them. Does that sound like cold hearted people? Do you honestly think a small market station can station could seriously outbid a station from Nashville or Tampa? Let me out it in sports terms. Thats like the Pawtucket Red Sox pulling off a miracle to keep a young Dustin Pedroia from making the trio to Boston. Thats like Lebron picking the Flint Tropics over the Miami Heat. Thats like Adrian Peterson picking the Springfield Foxes over the Minnesota Vikings. Do I know how to weld? No. So I dont come to your job and tell you how to run it. Do I know how to flip burgers? Yes, and Im quite good at it, but that doesnt mean Im going to come down and harass you about how youre doing your job.
